If your baby has died or you have been told to expect that they may die soon, we are so sorry. This section highlights bereavement support available for you and your family, whenever you need it.

There are also a number of ways for you to take part in Baby Loss Awareness Week and commemorate your baby(ies)’s life including Ribbon Remembrance Events and the Wave of Light.

The charities and organisations that take part in Baby Loss Awareness Week are committed to raising awareness of pregnancy and baby loss and providing support to anyone affected by pregnancy loss and the death of a baby.

Attend an event

Many events will be held throughout the week across the UK, including ribbon events and displays, remembrance and Wave of Light events. You can choose to attend or get involved in organising one in your local community.

Share your story

Many parents, family members and friends who went through pregnancy loss, or whose baby died find it helpful to write about their experience. If you would like to share your story to help raise awareness via social media, tag us using #BLAW.

Remember your baby

There are a number of ways to remember your baby or lost pregnancy this Baby Loss Awareness Week. Wear pink and blue ribbon pin badge and join the global #WaveOfLight to unite with other families across the world in lighting a candle at 7pm on 15th October.
