Elaine’s story – Baby Loss Awareness Week

Elaine’s story

Elaine’s story

I suffered a missed miscarriage 4 years ago this December coming. It was not expected and very traumatising for us. It still effects me today. Time has passed and the pain isn’t everyday but there are always the what if’s, who would she of looked liked, she would of been getting ready to go to school, how would she have been, would she cling to our legs or run straight in. Each day is a stepping stone to healing, to learning to cope with each trigger, each moment you wish “I wish that could be me”.

We miss her so very much and although we never got to meet her, we have so much love for her and that will never leave us. I’m so proud that I can speak out and share my story. Its a story none of us expect to go through and by sharing our stories, we can see we aren’t alone because going through any loss is lonely. Our babies are watching over us and keeping us strong. Sending lots of love and hugs to each and everyone of you ❤️xxx
